Can I Change The Time On A Lyric Security System?
Yes, to change the time on a Honeywell Lyric security system, enter programming by selecting the Security icon.
Select Tools and enter the Installer Code on the displayed keypad, (Honeywell’s factory default installer code is 4112).
The Installer Tools menu screen will appear. Select Program; System Programming will display in an orange band at the top of the screen. Additionally, the panic button will be lit and the home button will flash red and green.
Select Date Time and it will auto advance to that programming screen. The system beeps each time a selection is made.
To delete or change an entry, select the desired option, and then select the required entry.
To set the time, touch the “Clear” button and enter the correct time, then select AM or PM.
Press the (V) arrow to advance to the next screen or select “Save” to return to the system programming screen.
The Lyric panel's Time Zone is set to the default which is Eastern (EST). To change the Time Zone select from the list options; Eastern (EST), Pacific (PST), Atlantic (AST), Central (CST), Alaska (AKST), Newfoundland (NT),Hawaii (HAST), Brasilia (BRT), Mountain (MST) and Mid-Atlantic (MAT).
Press the (V) arrow to advance to Daylight Savings Time (the system toggles between “Yes” and “No”).
To disable Daylight Savings Time, Select No.
To enable Daylight Savings Time, select Yes. If yes is selected the Start Month, Start Week, End Month and End Week will be active.
Select a daylight savings time start month.
Select a daylight savings time start week. The system toggles between “First”, “Second”, “Third”, “Last”, “Next to Last” and “3rd from Last”.
Select a daylight savings time End Month.
Select a daylight savings End Week. The system toggles between “First”, “Second”, “Third”, “Last”, “Next to Last” and “3rd from Last”.
Exit programming by selecting the return icon as many times to return to the Security screen, or press the Home button to return to the Home screen.
