Do Honeywell 5815 door and window sensors have magnets?

The Honeywell 5815 is one of the more aesthetically pleasing wireless door and window sensors made by Honeywell. But behind all those good looks, is there a magnet?

Like most other Honeywell door and window sensors, the Honeywell 5815 sensor uses a magnet to detect when your door or window has been opened.

The Honeywell 5815 will ship with its accompanying magnet in addition to the transmitter. The magnet should be oriented along two sides of the transmitter and still work.

If you've lost your Honeywell 5815 magnet, we recommend a Honeywell 5899B magnet, which is designed for the thinner Honeywell sensors.
