How Do I Install A Honeywell Tuxedo Touch WiFi?

The Honeywell Tuxedo keypad is an indoor keypad and should not be mounted in direct sunlight. Select a mounting location, remove the backplate from the Tuxedo Touch WiFi keypad and secure by using the 4 screws that are included.

Install the Honeywell Tuxedo Touch WiFi in parallel with keypads using the keypad ECP data bus.

Connect the yellow wire from the “Y” on the back of the Tuxedo Touch WiFi to the “Data Out” on the control terminal strip. Connect the red wire to the “+” positive on the Tuxedo Touch WiFi to the “Aux + plus” on the control terminal strip. Connect the black wire to the “-” negative on the Tuxedo Touch WiFi to the “Aux - neg” on the control terminal strip. Connect the green wire to the “G” on the Tuxedo Touch Wifi to the “Data In” on the control terminal strip.

The Honeywell Tuxedo Touch WiFi draws up to 340mA for 9.6VDC, 260mA for 12VDC and 250mA for 13.8VDC. If powering the Tuxedo Touch WiFi keypad from your panel’s Aux Power output, check the panel’s Installation and Setup Guide and verify that the Tuxedo Touch WiFi does not exceed the panel's Aux Power output. If it does, a supplementary power supply will be needed.

If a supplementary power supply is being used, connect the black wire to the (-) terminal on the power supply to the “Aux -” neg on the control terminal strip. Connect the red wire to the (+) positive on the power supply.

When using a power supply always apply power to the control panel first, then the Tuxedo Touch WiFi.

When the Tuxedo Touch WiFi is powered up, the screen displays the boot sequence and the "Set ECP Address/RIS (Remote Interactive Services) Automation Address Selection" screen will be displayed. Power up each keypad one at a time and set each keypad address to one of the addresses enabled in the control panel.

Please refer to the Tuxedo Touch WiFi for complete programming instructions.
