Which deadbolt locks work with the 2Gig GoControl?

The 2GIG GoControl is a wireless security system with a factory equipped home automation controller. There is a built-in Z-Wave controller that allows the GoControl panel to include up to 232 Z-Wave devices. For those DIYers out there looking to setup Z-Wave devices on the GoControl it can be difficult to confirm compatibility. Well, here is the deal. First, never confuse Zigbee and Z-Wave. They are two different wireless technologies and the GoControl does not support Zigbee. We recommend the Kwikset and Yale product lines for the best deadbolt locks. They have to be "Z-Wave ready" and there are models that work better than others.

The Kwikset Smart Code 914 (buttons) and the 916 (touchscreen) are top of the line deadbolts that work reliably with just about any Z-Wave controller. The Yale Real Living YRD210 (buttons) and the YRD220 (Touchscreen) are another great option for those looking to shop around.

The most popularly sold Z-Wave deadbolts are sold by Schlage in the form of the BE468 and BE469 models. In most cases these products seem to work just fine. However we have had a few issues with integrating these into scenes, rules and scheduling. Also, there have been documented cases of system reboots when trying to execute commands to more than one at a time. All in all, it is worth staying away from them as a precaution.
