Designed with larger homes and businesses in mind, the 2GIG GC2 Verizon-CDMA 10-1 Kit includes everything a new user needs to get started with alarm monitoring. The user receives a 2GIG GC2 System, 10 door and window contacts, a motion sensor and a Honeywell LT-Cable for providing power.

With the 2GIG GC2, users get a solid wireless all-in-one (AIO) alarm system that can perform virtually any needed function. The system is very easy to control with its 3.75" by 2.25" full-color touchscreen. With support for up to 60 wireless zones, the user will have great flexibility for expanding their system and including more sensors. And everyone in the household or company will be able to have their own user code, since the panel can support a maximum of 64 codes.

The 2GIG GC2 uses 345 MHz wireless sensors, which includes those from the Honeywell 5800 Series and sensors manufactured by 2GIG. All of the sensors that come included with the system are entirely compatible and ready to be programmed. This includes 10 door and window sensors and a motion sensor. With the door and window contacts, a user can monitor any relevant opening for activity. Meanwhile, the motion can be placed in an interior area for monitoring any inside activity that may occur.

The included CDMA cellular communicator allows the system to receive cellular monitoring service. Cellular monitoring is very important for alarm systems due to its exceptional reliability. Cellular service is also unaffected by power outages, allowing the GC2 System to remain monitored when the power is out. The communicator also lets the GC2 connect with the Alarm.com service. A user can access Alarm.com at any time to arm or disarm their system, check the status of sensors, control Z-Wave smart home devices and more.

As for Z-Wave control, the GC2 can support up to 232 different devices using its built-in Z-Wave controller. These devices can be operated directly from the panel or remotely using the Alarm.com Mobile App.
