Can a Honeywell 5800pir-res be mounted at 7 feet?

The Honeywell 5800PIR-RES is supposed to be mounted at a height between 7.5 feet and 8 feet. However, the real test for this sensor can be performed in the walk test mode. So, in a case where one wants to mount the sensor at only 7 feet, below the recommended height, hold the sensor at that height, and solicit some help to perform a walk test wherein you can see how much of the room gets coverage at that height.
