How Do I Exit Programming Mode On My VISTA-P System?

There are 2 ways to exit programming mode on a Vista-P control panel.

Users can exit programming with installer code lockout by pressing star (*) 98. This will exit programming mode and prevents re-entry by entering the Installer Code (Honeywell’s default installer code is 4112) + 8 0 0. To re-enter programming mode, the system must be powered down, then powered up. During the first 50 seconds of powering up, press the star (*) and the pound (#) buttons at the same time (this method must be used if ✱98 was used to exit program mode).

Users can also exit programming mode by pressing star (*) 99. Entering star (*) 99 exits program mode and allows re-entry by entering the Installer Code + 8 0 0.

Star (*) 99 is the recommended way to exit to programming mode.

Please refer to the Vista control panel's programming guide for complete programming details.
