A few things will happen if you perform a factory default on a Yale Z-Wave Lock. First, the Master PIN Code will be reset back to its default of 12345678. Second, any added codes will be deleted. Third, any Z-Wave settings will be reset. This means that the device will need to be re-enrolled with the Z-Wave Hub. You should clear the device from the network before attempting to enroll. A scenario where a default might be recommended is when the lock will be added to a Z-Wave network, but was previously used by itself with only local user codes.
