How do I find the AID & AID CRC for my GSMV4G, GSMX4G?

The GSMV4G and the GSMX4G do not have an AID because they each have their own MAC and MAC CRC, which is used for Activation. The only device that currently has an AID and an AID CRC is the VISTA-GSM4G, which is the cellular communicator that can be used as a back up for the Vista-21IP's Ethernet communicator. Because the Vista-21IP has its own MAC and MAC CRC, the AID and AID CRC are used to activate the SIM for the VISTA-GSM4G, and then to marry it to the MAC for the VISTA-21IP so that, once activated and registered, the Ethernet communicator built into the Vista-21IP and the VISTA-GSM4G behave as one device.

This FAQ is incorrect. The AID and AID CRC are only found on a VISTA-GSM4G cellular communicator. The VISTA-GSM4G is the communicator that works with the VISTA-21iP. The easiest way to locate the AID and CRC is to look on the sticker on the VISTA-GSM4G. If you happen to have a GSMV4G or GSMX4G, you need to pop the cover on the device and there is a sticker with the MAC and MAC CRC information on the actual circuit board.
