How Do I Relaunch the Setup Wizard on the IQ Panel 5 System?
To relaunch the Setup Wizard on the IQ Panel 5, swipe down, touch Settings, touch Advanced Settings, and enter the Installer Code. Touch Setup Wizard, touch Launch Wizard, then touch Start on the Welcome screen to begin. It guides you through WIFI, the system check, and your devices.
What Relaunching the Setup Wizard Does
The IQ Panel 5 (available in AT&T LTE and Verizon LTE) includes the Easy Install Wizard, a step-by-step programming tool that walks you through setup in a consistent order. You can run it again at any time, not only when the panel is new. Relaunching it is the quickest way to revisit the setup pages, such as WIFI, the system check, software updates, smart devices, and sensors.
The manual describes the wizard as a programming tool, not a reset, and a factory reset is a separate option. Launching the wizard guides you through the pages for your security system, and it follows the page configuration chosen in Wizard Settings.
How to Relaunch the Setup Wizard
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen. This opens the Settings Tray with quick controls.

What the Wizard Walks You Through
After you touch Start, the panel moves through the setup pages in order. The pages include the WIFI connection, a system check, a check for software updates, smart devices, and a search for sensors. Complete the pages that apply to you, and use the arrows to move between them.
How to Choose Which Pages Appear
The Wizard Settings option controls which pages the wizard shows. To open it, follow the same steps above through Setup Wizard, then touch Wizard Settings instead of Launch Wizard. The settings are Update, Security, Automation, Bluetooth, Users, Dealer, IQ Remote, Sensor Signal Test, and Download Mobile App, and each is enabled by default. Panel Glass Break, enabled by default, shows the option to enable or disable the panel glass break detector. The manual notes that this page is not approved for UKCA or CE/EN Grade 2.
The Update page offers the check for software updates, Security covers adding and editing security sensors, Automation covers including and editing automation devices, and Bluetooth covers pairing Bluetooth devices. Users covers adding users, Dealer covers the dealer contact information, IQ Remote covers pairing IQ Remotes, and Sensor Signal Test runs the sensor test as part of the wizard.
Security Sensor Setup Format is set to Advanced by default. Advanced shows pairing designed for professional installers, labeled PRO, while Simple shows pairing designed for do-it-yourself installs, labeled DIY.
When to Relaunch the Wizard
Relaunching the wizard is useful when you want a guided way to add sensors or smart devices, confirm the WIFI connection, run the system check, or check for a software update in one pass. If you only need one setting, going directly to that setting is faster than running the whole wizard.
If You Use the Dealer Code
Entering the Dealer Code, 2222, opens the Dealer menu instead of the Installer menu. Setup Wizard is also a button in the Dealer menu, and the steps from there are the same: touch Setup Wizard, then touch Launch Wizard. If the wizard does not show a page you expect, that page has been turned off in Wizard Settings. Return to Wizard Settings and enable it, then launch the wizard again.
Before You Start
Make sure the panel is plugged in, as the Welcome screen reminds you. Have your WIFI network name and password ready, and have any new sensors or devices within reach. The Installer Code is needed to open Setup Wizard, so keep it handy.
