The IQP5017 is the Verizon LTE version of the cutting-edge IQ Panel 5 security and automation platform. Built on a powerful Qualcomm Dragonwing processor running Android 14, this panel delivers fast, responsive control for security, smart home automation, and Alarm.com connectivity. Its modular design supports optional daughter cards for legacy RF and Ethernet if needed.
This model combines dual-path communications with Verizon LTE and dual-band Wi-Fi. The panel includes a built-in PowerG+ transceiver at 915 MHz, providing encrypted two-way long-range wireless for sensors and automation devices. With support for up to 128 PowerG+ security sensors, up to 100 PowerG automation devices, and up to 167 total devices, the IQP5017 is capable of handling large installations with ease. The panel also includes a Z-Wave 800 Series module with Long Range support for better smart device coverage with fewer range extenders. Bluetooth 5.0 + LE enables features like Bluetooth touchless disarming. The integrated 13 MP PortraitView camera captures wide-angle photos for disarm notifications. Dual MEMS microphones and dual 4W speakers with an 85 dB piezo siren allow clear local alerts and announcements. The panel also includes a 24-hour lithium polymer backup battery so it can continue operating during power loss.
The IQ5 platform also supports optional RF daughter cards, allowing the panel to communicate with additional wireless sensor frequencies when needed. These plug-in cards are especially useful for system takeovers or upgrades where existing sensors need to be reused. It comes with a PowerG+ card, but other available options include the QC0001-840 (319.5 MHz IQ Card), QC0004-840 (433 MHz IQ Card), and the QC0005-840 (345 MHz IQ Card). By installing the appropriate daughter card, the IQ Panel 5 can support legacy sensors alongside its built-in radios, giving installers more flexibility while keeping the system modern and scalable.
Installation is made easier with the SmartMount wall mount system. The unit supports up to four partitions and 242 user codes, giving installers flexibility for both residential and small commercial setups.
