How Do I Remove A Z-Wave Device From A L5200?

To remove / delete a zwave device from a Lynx Touch L5200 control panel, select the "Automation" icon from the home screen.

From the Home Screen select the "Automation" icon.

From the Automation Screen, select "Tools". Tools provides access to the Z-Wave Device Management Screen and

Advanced Tools option.

Select Device Management. From the "Device Management" screen, select "Exclude Devices". Excluding devices will allow users to delete Z-Wave Devices/Modules.

Once the "Exclude Devices" is pressed, the panel will display "Entering Exclusion Mode. Please Wait…" The panel will now display "Ready to Exclude device. Press the function button on device".

Within one minute press the device's Function button or activate the switch.

If the device has been successfully excluded, the device's information will be added to the excluded list. If the device is not known to the panel and is excluded, "Unknown Device Excluded" will be added to the excluded list.

Once all devices have been excluded, press the "Home" key to return to the Home screen or select the return button to return to the previous screen.

Excluding a device sends a command to the Node erasing any previous network information that was learned into it.

The Lynx Touch L5200 support home automation (zwave) when paired with a L5100zwave module.

Users can control zwave devices directly from the Lynx Touch L5200 or remotely with a Total Connect 2.0 account.

Total Connect 2.0 allows users to control an alarm system, home automation and video surveillance from any computer, smartphone and ios device. Users will receive notifications via email and or text message on any alarm signal or event.

Home automation should only be used for life style enhancement. It must not be used for personal safety or property protection.

I have a similar issue and i cannot get the reset controller to work. It says Fail. I also try to remove failed devices and that doesn't work either. Several of my zwave devices no longer exist and are causing me headache. Help!
You can't force delete a single Z-Wave device. You can only exclude the device from the controller or do a full reset of the controller and then exclude/include all devices but the one in question.
I have a 7000 and one of the zwave switches (in-wall relay switch from monoprice) is no longer working and does not respond to commands. How do I force delete the device?
