How Do I View the Z-Wave Device List on the IQ Panel 5?
To view the Z-Wave Device List on the IQ Panel 5, swipe down, touch Settings, touch Advanced Settings, then enter the Dealer Code. Touch Z-Wave Device List, then touch Info on any device to see its full technical details, including Product Info and Protocol Info fields listed there.
What the Z-Wave Device List Shows
The IQ Panel 5 (available in AT&T LTE and Verizon LTE) includes a Z-Wave Device List screen showing device-specific information for every programmed Z-Wave device. Pressing Info on any device displays its Product Info, Protocol Info, Application Info, and Supported Command Classes, a level of technical detail well beyond what the regular Lights, Locks, or Thermostat control pages show.
This page is only available through the Dealer Code, not the Installer or Master Code, which reflects how technical and installer-specific this information is. Most homeowners will never need this screen, since it's built for diagnosing Z-Wave communication issues at a protocol level rather than everyday device control on your security system.
How to View the Z-Wave Device List
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen. This opens the Settings Tray with quick controls.
2. Touch Settings. This opens the main Settings page.
3. Touch Advanced Settings. This prompts you to enter a code before continuing.
4. Enter the Dealer Code. The default Dealer Code is 2222. The Installer Code (default 1111) does not have access to this screen.

5. Touch Z-Wave Device List. This is a Dealer-only menu item, alongside Local Automation and Dealer Branding.
6. Touch Info next to any device. This displays that device's Product Info, Protocol Info, Application Info, and Supported Command Classes.
Re-Interviewing a Device From This Screen
The Z-Wave Device List also offers a Re-Interview option for each device, which resends all initial pairing commands to that device without deleting and re-enrolling it. This is useful if a device seems to be communicating but isn't responding correctly to certain commands, since a re-interview can refresh the panel's understanding of that device's capabilities without the hassle of a full removal and re-add.
Why This Is Dealer-Only
Product Info, Protocol Info, and Supported Command Classes are the kind of low-level technical details a dealer or installer would use to diagnose a genuinely unusual Z-Wave issue, not something a homeowner needs for day-to-day use. Restricting this screen to the Dealer Code keeps it out of the way for everyday users while still making it available to whoever services your system when a deeper diagnostic is actually needed.
If You Don't Have the Dealer Code
If you don't know your system's Dealer Code, that's expected for most homeowners, since it's meant for the company that installs and services your system rather than the end user. If you need information from this screen for troubleshooting, contact your monitoring provider or installing dealer directly rather than trying to guess or reset the code yourself.
How This Differs From Other Z-Wave Screens
It's worth knowing where the Z-Wave Device List fits relative to other Z-Wave-related screens you might already be familiar with. The regular Lights, Locks, and Thermostat control pages are built for everyday device control, turning a light on or adjusting a thermostat, and they're accessible without any special code. Other Z-Wave Devices, a separate screen on the Settings page, simply shows Z-Wave devices that don't fit neatly into those main categories, without any protocol-level depth. The Z-Wave Device List goes further than either of these, exposing the actual technical specification of each device, information that's genuinely useful for diagnosing communication problems but unnecessary for simply using your smart home devices day to day.
When a Dealer Would Actually Use This Screen
This screen typically comes into play during a service call where a Z-Wave device is behaving strangely, responding to some commands but not others, or reporting inconsistent status. Rather than guessing at the cause, an installer can pull up the exact Product Info and Protocol Info for that device and compare it against known compatibility notes or firmware requirements. Supported Command Classes in particular can reveal whether a device actually supports a feature you're trying to use, since not every Z-Wave device implements every possible command, and a feature that seems broken might simply not be supported by that specific device's firmware version.
The Z-Wave Device List on the IQ Panel 5 gives dealers and installers detailed protocol-level information for every enrolled Z-Wave device on the IQ Panel 5.
