The Honeywell ILP5 is an internet alarm monitoring communicator for the LYNX Touch L5000 or LYNX Touch L5100 alarm system. The ILP5 allows the LYNX Touch alarm control panel to send signals to a central station via your broadband internet service. The ILP5 does require a service plan with an AlarmNet dealer, such as Alarm Grid. AlarmNet is Honeywell’s communications division and provides internet and cellular services for alarm systems. The ILP5 also allows you to get Total Connect interactive services. Total Connect allows you to remotely control your LYNX Touch security system using a virtual keypad on your smartphone or computer. You also will have the ability to receive text and email notifications from your LYNX Touch system with the ILP5.
