DSC HS2128NK 3-1 AT&T LTE Kit

The DSC NEO-2128-PK-ENC-AT is a system kit featuring the DSC HS2128NK PowerSeries NEO Panel. This kit is great for large homes and businesses. You also get a keypad w/ integrated PowerG Transceiver, a Dual-Path AT&T LTE & IP Communicator, 3 PowerG Contacts, a PowerG Motion and an LT-Cable.

The DSC HS2128NK PowerSeries NEO Panel is one of the most powerful systems we offer. It provides support for 128 zones and offers a plethora of great features. You can use it in virtually any home or business that requires support for a large number of sensors. But it is important to keep in mind that the system only has enough on-board zone terminals for eight (8) hardwired zones out of the box. If you want to use additional hardwired sensors beyond this, you will need at least one DSC HSM2108 Expansion Module. Every module you add allows you to use eight (8) additional hardwired sensors.

However, hardwired sensors aren't the only peripheral devices you can use with this system. You can also add wireless PowerG Sensors. These sensors are supported because of the PowerG Transceiver built into the DSC HS2LCDRF9 N NEO Keypad that we have bundled in. PowerG Sensors can be easily enrolled and programmed once the keypad has been wired and addressed. This kit also includes three (3) DSC PG9303 Door/Window Contacts and one (1) DSC PG9914 Motion Sensor to get you started. All PowerG Sensors offer a 2km wireless range in open air and 128-bit AES encryption for added security. Just remember that both PowerG Sensors and hardwired sensors count towards the 128 zone limit.

Another great component of this kit is the communicator. We have included a DSC TL880LEAT N Dual-Path Communicator with this kit. This communicator works across Verizon LTE as well as IP through hardwired ethernet. As long as one path is functional, the system will successfully communicate with the Alarm.com servers. This is very important for ensuring reliable monitoring service. Remember, the communicator will need to be activated with an appropriate alarm monitoring plan in order for it to work. This is a Gold Plan or higher for Alarm Grid customers. Once activated, you can control your system through Alarm.com for security and automation functions. The communicator even doubles as a Z-Wave Plus controller so that you can start building a Z-Wave network.

This kit also includes an LT-Cable. You can use this convenient cable to easily connect the system with a compatible transformer (not included). However, you must obtain a backup battery separately. If you have relatively few sensors and accessories, then an UltraTech 1240 Battery will usually suffice. But if you start using this powerful 128-zone system to its full potential, then something more powerful like an UltraTech 1270 may be required. If need something even more robust, then we can certainly help you find what you need. Just keep in mind that most backup batteries must be replaced every three (3) to five (5) years.

Note: No transformer is included with this system. We recommend purchasing the Honeywell 1361-GT Transformer separately, which will work fine with the DSC PowerSeries NEO Security System.
