How Do I Add a PowerG Smart Lock to the IQ5 Hub System?
To add a PowerG smart lock to the IQ5 Hub, swipe down, touch Settings, touch Advanced Settings, and enter the Installer Code (1111 by default). Go to Installation, Devices, Security Sensors, and select Auto Learn Sensor. Press the enroll button on the IQDLK-PGK-MB until the LED flashes.
What Is the IQDLK-PGK-MB PowerG Smart Lock
The IQ5 Hub (available in AT&T LTE and Verizon LTE) is compatible with the IQDLK-PGK-MB PowerG smart deadbolt. The IQDLK-PGK-MB connects using PowerG wireless technology built natively into the IQ5 Hub. Unlike Z-Wave locks, it enrolls through the Security Sensors menu — no Z-Wave inclusion, no S2 key exchange, and no daughter card required. PowerG provides encrypted two-way communication with full supervision.
Once enrolled, the lock appears in the Lock Control page and can be controlled from the panel or remotely through the Alarm.com app. Alarm.com home automation rules let you automatically lock the door when the system arms away or set schedules for locking and unlocking.
