IQ5 Hub with AT&T LTE
Touchscreen w/PG+ and Z-Wave 800
Description
The IQH5018 is the AT&T LTE version of the Qolsys IQ5 Hub. It delivers the same core platform, processing power, and wireless technology as the IQ Panel 5, but in a simplified hub-style form factor without a built-in panel camera. The IQ5 family blog is a useful tool when shopping panels.
The hub runs Android 14 on a Qualcomm Dragonwing quad-core processor. It includes dual-path communication with AT&T LTE CAT-4 and dual-band Wi-Fi. This ensures strong and reliable connectivity to Alarm.com services for remote access, automation, and notifications.
Built-in PowerG+ wireless at 915 MHz provides encrypted two-way communication with excellent range and reliability. The IQH5018 supports up to 128 PowerG+ security sensors, up to 100 PowerG automation devices, and up to 167 total devices. This makes it suitable for larger homes and multi-device systems.
The IQ5 Hub also supports optional RF daughter cards, allowing it to work with additional wireless sensor frequencies beyond the built-in radios. These plug-in cards are commonly used during takeovers or retrofits where existing sensors need to remain in service. The PG+ daughtercard comes built-in, but other supported options include the QC0001-840 (319.5 MHz IQ Card), QC0004-840 (433 MHz IQ Card), and the QC0005-840 (345 MHz IQ Card). The family of IQ5 Panels also support the Qolsys QC000B-840 aka IQ Card Ethernet for a hardwired internet option and the QC000E-840 add-on Zigbee card to support Zigbee devices. Adding the correct daughter card allows the IQ Hub to support legacy sensors without changing the core PowerG+ system design, making it easier to adapt the hub to a wide range of installations.
The panel has two (2) slots for daughter cards. Slot one is for legacy RF daugthercards. Only one (1) legacy card is supported per panel. Slot two or the middle slot is the expansion slot. It is used for either an ethernet daughter card or a Zigbee daughter card.
The IQH5018 also includes Z-Wave 800 Series with Z-Wave Long Range. This improves smart home performance and reduces the need for repeaters. Bluetooth 5.0 + LE is built in for touchless disarming and mobile proximity features.
Hardware includes a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen with 1080 × 600 resolution, one microphone, one speaker, and an 85 dB siren. A 24-hour backup battery keeps the system active during power loss. The system supports up to four partitions and up to 242 user codes.
