What Is the IQDLK-PGK-MB PowerG Smart Lock

The IQ5 NS (available in AT&T LTE and Verizon LTE) is compatible with the IQDLK-PGK-MB PowerG smart deadbolt. The IQ5 NS is a screenless security system panel and all enrollment is done through the IQ Installer app. The IQDLK-PGK-MB uses PowerG wireless technology — the same encrypted radio built natively into the IQ5 NS. No Z-Wave inclusion, no S2 key exchange, and no daughter card required. It enrolls as a Security Sensor and provides encrypted two-way communication with full supervision.

Once enrolled, the lock is controlled through the Alarm.com app. With an Alarm.com monitoring plan that includes home automation, you can lock and unlock remotely, check lock status, and set automations such as locking the door whenever the system arms away.

Steps to Add the PowerG Smart Lock

1. Open the IQ Installer app and connect to the IQ5 NS panel. The Configuration menu opens in the app.

2. Navigate to Installation, then Devices, then Security Sensors. The Security Sensors menu opens.

3. Select Auto Learn Sensor and touch Start Autolearn. The panel enters listening mode and waits for a PowerG signal.

4. Press and hold the enroll button on the IQDLK-PGK-MB until the LED flashes. The app displays the lock's DL ID with a confirmation prompt.

5. Touch OK and configure the lock fields. Set the Sensor Type to Door Lock, choose a Sensor Name such as Front Door Lock, and configure the Sensor Group, Chime Type, and Voice Prompts. Touch Save to complete enrollment.

Controlling the Lock After Enrollment

After enrollment, the IQDLK-PGK-MB is controlled through the Alarm.com app on your mobile device. Open the app, navigate to Locks, and touch the lock icon to lock or unlock the door remotely. You can also receive push notifications when the lock status changes and set up automations such as locking all doors when the system arms.
