How Do I Add a Z-Wave Lock to the IQ5 Hub Security Panel?

To add a Z-Wave lock to the IQ5 Hub, swipe down from the top of the screen, touch Settings, touch Advanced Settings, and enter the Installer Code (1111 by default). Navigate to Installation, Devices, Z-Wave Devices, touch Add Device, touch Include, then put your lock in pairing mode.

Before You Begin

The IQ5 Hub (available in AT&T LTE and Verizon LTE) supports up to 20 Z-Wave door locks. Adding a lock lets you control doors from the touchscreen, an IQ Remote, and remotely through the Alarm.com app. Once your first lock is added, a Locks page appears on the panel for easy access.

Install the lock per the manufacturer's instructions and make sure it is within Z-Wave range of the panel. If the lock was previously paired with another Z-Wave controller, clear it first using Clear Device in the Z-Wave Devices menu. Have the Installer Code (default 1111) ready before starting.
