How Do I Change the Door Lock Page on the IQ5 Hub System?

To change the Door Lock Page on the IQ5 Hub, swipe down and touch Settings, then Advanced Settings, and then enter your own Installer Code. Next, touch Installation, then Installer Settings, and then toggle the Door Lock Page on or off, which is enabled by default on the panel already here.

About the Door Lock Page

The Door Lock Page on the IQ5 Hub (available in AT&T LTE and Verizon LTE) adds a dedicated lock control page to the panel's main interface. It gives you a quick screen to lock and unlock your Z-Wave door locks right from the panel. The setting is enabled by default, and the page automatically appears any time a door lock is added as a device, so for most people with a smart lock it simply shows up without any extra steps on your security system.

Because the page only appears once a lock exists, you may see the setting checked but greyed out when no door lock is programmed yet. That is normal: the feature is on, but there is nothing for the page to show until you add a lock. Add a Z-Wave door lock and the Door Lock Page appears on its own. You would only turn this setting off if you specifically did not want a lock page on the panel even though you have a lock installed.

Before You Begin

The Door Lock Page is in the Installer Settings, which require the Installer Code (1111 by default) or Dealer Code (2222 by default). The steps below use the Installer Code. Since the page is enabled by default and shows automatically with a lock, most people never need to change this. You would mainly visit it to turn the page off, or to confirm it is on after adding a lock.

Change the Door Lock Page

  1. Swipe down and touch Settings. Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Settings Tray, then touch SETTINGS.

  2. Touch Advanced Settings and enter your Installer Code. Touch ADVANCED SETTINGS, then enter your Installer Code (1111 by default). The Dealer Code (2222) works here too. The panel advances automatically after a valid code.

  3. Touch Installation, then Installer Settings. Touch INSTALLATION, then open INSTALLER SETTINGS and find the Door Lock Page setting.

Open Installer Settings and find Door Lock Page.
  4. Toggle the Door Lock Page. Leave the Door Lock Page checked to keep it on, so the page shows whenever a lock is added, or uncheck it to hide the lock page from the panel. If it appears checked but greyed out, no lock is added yet.

Leave it checked, or uncheck it to hide the page.

Tips

If you have a smart lock but do not see the Door Lock Page, confirm this setting is checked and that the lock is actually paired to the panel, since the page only appears once a lock is added. If you see the setting checked but locked, that simply means no door lock is programmed yet. Most people leave this enabled, since having quick lock control on the panel is convenient, and only turn it off if they prefer to manage locks another way.
