Complete the following steps to program the Honeywell 5806W3 to the L5210:

1. Open enrollment mode. Start from the main screen of the L5210 with the system disarmed. Press Security > More > Tools > Installer Code (4112) > Program > Zones > Add New > Serial Number. This will put the L5210 into its wireless enrollment mode for learning-in new sensors.

2. Enroll the device. Use a thin object, like a paper clip or tooth pick, to press and released the recessed test button on the front of the 5806W3. The panel will beep to confirm that it detected the signal from the 5806W3. Doing this three times will enroll the sensor with the L5210. You will then be returned to the previous screen.

3. Adjust the settings. Go through the settings, and make sure they are correctly configured for the proper operation of the Honeywell 5806W3. The Loop Number for the zone should be set to Loop 1. The Zone Descriptors will name the device, and they should help the user easily identify the sensor. The Device Type for the zone should be set to "Smoke Detector". The Response Type can be either "Fire with Verification" or "Fire no Verification". Alarm Report should be "Yes". Supervision should be "Enabled".

4. Save your changes. Press the "Save" button in the lower-right corner of the screen. This will save any changes. To return to the home screen, repeatedly press the return arrow in the upper-right corner of the screen. Make sure to choose "Yes" when asked if the installer should be allowed to re-enter programming.
