How Do I See the Internal Storage on the IQ5 Hub System?

To see the internal storage on the IQ5 Hub, swipe down and touch Settings, then Advanced Settings, and enter your code. Next, touch About and then scroll to the Internal Storage section, which shows the total space, the available space, and how much of it is used by your photos and videos.

About the Panel's Internal Storage

The IQ5 Hub (available in AT&T LTE and Verizon LTE) has built-in storage that holds the panel's software along with media it captures, like disarm photos and alarm images. The About page breaks this down so you can see how much space is in use, which is handy if you take a lot of panel photos or just want to confirm the panel has room to keep working smoothly as part of your security system.

The Internal Storage section lists the Total Space in GB, the Available Space left for media, and a breakdown of how much is used by Photos and by Videos. Checking it is a quick, view-only task that changes nothing on the panel. It is the same About page that shows other panel details such as the software version and serial number.

Before You Begin

The About page sits in Advanced Settings, which you can reach with any of your codes: the Master Code (1234 by default), Installer Code (1111 by default), or Dealer Code (2222 by default). The steps below use the Master Code. Viewing the storage makes no changes to the panel, so you can check it any time you like.

Tips

Most of the space on the panel is taken up by media it captures, so if available space is getting low, clearing out old panel camera images is the quickest way to free some up. You can manage those on the Panel Camera Page; see our guide on how to view and delete panel camera photos on the IQ5 Hub. The panel handles its own software storage automatically, so you never need to clear space for updates yourself; the media breakdown is really there to help you keep an eye on photos and videos.

Seeing the internal storage on the IQ5 Hub lets you keep tabs on space and know when to clear out old media.
