The Honeywell GSMVLP5-4G is a cellular communicator compatible with the Honeywell L5100 LYNX Touch wireless security system. The GSMVLP5-4G is not a GSM communicator like the older AlarmNet cellular alarm communicators, but is actually a 4G capable cellular alarm communicator.

When you install a GSMVLP5-4G inside your LYNX Touch wireless alarm control panel, you will need to activate the communicator with an AlarmNet alarm monitoring dealer. You can not use the GSMVLP5-4G without activating it with an AlarmNet dealer. There are many different alarm monitoring companies that offer AlarmNet alarm monitoring service. Once your cellular communicator is activated and your LYNX Touch cellular security system is programmed properly, all your alarm signals will be transmitted to your central station using the advanced 3G/4G AT&T cellular network.
