What is a good L7000 compatible deadbolt lock?

Both the Yale YRD220 and the Yale YRD210 are great and compatible Zwave deadbolt locks for the Lynx Touch L7000.

The Yale YRD220 has a durable touch screen keypad and is weather resistant. The touch screen keypad illuminates for nighttime use. The Yale YRD220 can be operated from the outside by the touch screen keypad or by key. Inside by “T” turn. The Yale YRD220 can hold 25 (twenty-five) user codes and up to 250 with a network module. The Yale YRD220 requires 4 (four) AA batteries and has a low battery indicator. The Yale YRD220 has an auto relock function that can be enabled or disabled and a one touch re-lock feature. The Yale YRD220 has an “all lock out code” feature when enabled restricts all codes except the master code. The unit has a privacy mode for added security that deactivates the voice response. The Yale YRD220 has interference alarms for tamper and wrong code attempts. The Yale YRD220 has a volume feature that controls the code confirmation tone which can be set to silent, low or high.

The Yale YRD210 has a durable push button tamper and weather resistant keypad. The Yale YRD210 can be operated from the outside by push button or key and the inside by “T” turn. The Yale YRD210 can hold up to 25 (twenty-five) user codes and illuminates for nighttime use. The Yale YRD210 has an “all code lockout” that restricts all codes except the master code. The Yale YRD210 has a “wrong code entry limit”. After a specified number of attempts in entering a code, the lock will shut down and not allow operation. Wrong code entry limit is adjustable from 3 (three) to 10 (ten). The Yale YRD210 requires 4 (four) AA batteries and has a low battery indicator. The Yale YRD210 has an “auto relock” feature and a “one touch re-lock” feature when the auto relock is disabled.

Both the Yale YRD220 and Yale YRD210 locks will fit in the place of an existing deadbolt and is compatible with all standard exterior and interior doors.

To utilize Yale deadbolt locks with the Lynx Touch L7000, a L5100-zwave module is required.

The Lynx Touch L7000 will support up to 6 (six) z-wave locks. The Lynx Touch L7000 has a “Z-wave Lock Control” and if enabled, codes can never be entered in the lock, they must be added to the panel and sent to the lock. The Lynx Touch L7000 will also monitor the lock battery and will display a low battery icon on the lock control screen.
