Not all z-wave devices that are compatible with the Lyric will work with Homekit. You'll need to verify your z-wave devices are homekit compatible.
Joe, I’ve got the Lyric connected in HomeKit but the Z-Wave devices are not being picked up by HomeKit. Is there another setting or a plug-in that needs to be installed for HomeKit to recognize and control them through Lyric ?
Yes, you are able to operate Z-Wave devices that are connected to the Lyric.
Will HomeKit be able to operate the z-wave devices that are connected to the Lyric control panel ?
The cellular data is bundled into the alarm monitoring plan. Our gold plans include cellular charges. We leave our customers flexible to upgrade or downgrade to add or remove cellular signaling.
The Z-wave controller is integrated in the Lyric Controller.
If I get this alarm with the att cellular communication, is this an extra charge to have it connected via cellular data or can I have it as a back up incase my wifi goes down? Or can I buy it with this module and later decide to activate? Also this system can control z wave or its an extra module I have to buy separately
