Does The Tuxedo Touch Wifi Work As A Keypad For The L7000?

No, the Honeywell Tuxedo is not compatible with Honeywell’s Lynx Touch L7000. To date, the only two keypads that are compatible with the Lynx Touch L7000, is the 5828 and the 5828V. The 5828 and the 5828V are to be used as secondary keypads only. The L5100-ZWAVE module is required to utilize zwave on the Lynx Touch L7000 .

The Tuxedo Touch Wifi is designed to be a ZWAVE controller by itself and can be used as a keypad for Honeywell’s Vista series panel which enables the Vista to have ZWAVE capability.

The Tuxedo Touch Wifi has a built in web server which enables you to control your security system, door locks, thermostats, cameras, lights and even window shade on site or remotely (using Total Connect 2.0). Total Connect 2.0 allows users to control these options remotely using any computer, web enabled TV, smart phone or any ios device. Users can view live video up to four (4) cameras per screen.

Insert an SD card at the touch screen of the Tuxedo Touch Wifi to use as a picture frame or view pictures.

Tuxedo Touch Wifi allows users to record and playback family messages.

Like the Lynx Touch L7000, the Tuxedo Touch Wifi has a 7” (seven inch) screen with large icons and is user friendly.

Since the Lynx Touch L7000 has ZWAVE capability, there is no need to use a Tuxedo Touch Wifi.
