How Do I Access Zone Programming On An L5200 Or L7000?

To access zone programming, select the Security icon on the home screen. Select More, than Tools.

Enter the installer code (Honeywell factory default installer code is 4112) on the displayed keypad.

The installer Tools menu screen will appear. Select the Program button.

On the L5200 System Programming will be displayed and the Armed and Ready LEDs will flash.

On the L7000 the Panic button is lit and the Home button flashes red and green alternately.

Select Zones.

Zone 1 is a hardwire zone; Zones 95, 96 and 99 are keypad panics.

For the LYNX Touch L5200, Zones 2 to 64 are RF zones, Zones 46 to 48 are reserved for Garage Door Zones, Zones 140-155 are Keyfob Zones and 180-185 are Temperature Zones.

For the LYNX Touch L7000, Zones 2 to 80 are RF zones, Zones 45 to 48 are reserved for Garage Door Zones, Zones 140-163 are Keyfob Zones and 180-187 are Temperature Zones.

To exit programming, press the return key to exit the current screen. The system returns to the previous screen. Press the return key as many times as needed until system displays a Confirmation screen.

ALWAYS press Yes to allow the installer to re-enter Programming mode. If No is selected, users will be locked out of programming. Press the return key again to return to the Security Screen OR depress the Home button to return to the Home Screen.
