How Do I Add a 2GIG Audio Detector to the IQ5 Hub System?
To add a 2GIG audio detector to the IQ5 Hub, install the IQ QC0005-840 345 MHz daughter card first. Go to Advanced Settings, Installation, Devices, Security Sensors, and touch Auto Learn Sensor. Press the test button on the 2GIG-FF100-345, set Sensor Type to Smoke Detector, and touch Add New.
What Is the 2GIG-FF100-345 Audio Detector
The IQ5 Hub (available in AT&T LTE and Verizon LTE) is compatible with the 2GIG-FF100-345 Fire/Audio Detector, a 345 MHz wireless device that listens for the T3 temporal sound pattern produced by UL-listed smoke detectors and sends an alert to the panel when it hears it. The IQ QC0005-840 345 MHz daughter card must be installed before enrollment.
Once enrolled, the detector is always active and cannot be bypassed. With a monitoring plan, the central station receives the fire signal and can dispatch emergency services. The FF100-345 listens for audio rather than detecting smoke or heat directly — it must be positioned within range of an existing smoke detector.
Steps to Add the Audio Detector
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen and touch Settings. The Settings page opens.

5. Press the test button on the 2GIG-FF100-345. The panel chimes and displays the DL ID. Source shows SRF345. Leave Loop at Loop 1 — the only option for 345 MHz fire sensors.
6. Touch OK, set Sensor Type to Smoke Detector, choose a Sensor Name, and touch Add New. Sensor Group 26 is assigned automatically. Enter a name such as Living Room Audio or Hallway Fire Listener and touch Add New.

After Adding the Detector
Test after enrollment by pressing the test button. Position the FF100-345 within clear audio range of the smoke detectors it monitors. For direct smoke detection without audio listening, consider adding a PowerG smoke detector which connects natively without a daughter card. Add a monitoring plan for central station fire dispatch and protect your home's security system around the clock.
Adding the 2GIG-FF100-345 audio detector to your IQ5 Hub lets existing smoke detectors trigger your alarm system wirelessly on the IQ5 Hub.
