How Do I Get My ADC-V622 Added to My Alarm.com Account Via the Mobile App?

You can get your ADC-V622 added to your Alarm.com account via the mobile app by first getting the camera online and then accessing your Alarm.com account through the mobile app on your Android or iOS device and then providing the unique 12-character MAC Address for the camera to pair it.


This FAQ assumes that you already have an active Alarm.com account with video monitoring services applied. It also assumes that your ADC-V622 is already online. You can get the ADC-V622 connected to WIFI via AP Mode pairing or WPS pairing, or you can have it set up with a hardwired ethernet connection. Once you have the camera online, you can pair it with your account using the Alarm.com website or the Alarm.com Mobile App. This FAQ focuses exclusively on the mobile app.

Complete the following steps to pair an ADC-V622 with your Alarm.com account using the mobile app:

1. Open ADC Mobile App. Begin from your Android or iOS device. Download the Alarm.com Mobile App for free from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store if you haven't already. Login to your account using your username and password. Complete two-factor authentication (2FA) if it is enabled. If you are having trouble accessing your account, then reach out to your monitoring provider for further assistance.

2. Enter Add Video Device. Once you have successfully logged in, click the three (3) horizontal bars menu button in the upper-left corner. Select Video, then Settings (the gear icon in the upper-right), and then choose Add Video Device. You will have entered the Add Video Device Menu.


3. Finish the integration. If you are on the same network as the ADC-V622, then Alarm.com will usually find the camera right away. If not, then you can try manually entering the 12-character MAC Address for the camera into the designated field. You should be able to find the MAC Address somewhere on the camera itself, or on its packaging. Once the camera is found, click the blue "Install" button to add the camera to your account. If the camera needs an upgrade first, then the button will instead read "Upgrade & Install", and you can press that button instead. Just be aware that it may take upwards of thirty (30) minutes for the upgrade to finish.
