How does a LYNX L5100 communicate with Total Connect?

In order to use Total Connect with your LYNX Touch L5100 alarm system you must have an AlarmNet alarm monitoring plan. AlarmNet is Honeywell’s communications division and they sell services through a network of authorized dealers, such as Alarm Grid. In order to get AlarmNet and Total Connect, you must have either the L5100-WIFI alarm communicator, the ILP5 internet communicator or the GSMVLP5-4G cellular communicator. Once you have a compatible communicator and a Total Connect service plan, you will be able to enjoy the benefits of remotely controlling your LYNX Touch L5100 security system.
