How to I register the GSMVLP5-4G Sim Card in a L5100?
The LYNX Touch L5100 can be used with a GSMVLP5-4G to provide cellular alarm monitoring service. The GSMVLP5-4G contains a Sim card that must be activated by an AlarmNet dealer. A user cannot activate this Sim card without a monitoring service plan in place with an AlarmNet dealer such as Alarm Grid. AlarmNet is a division of Honeywell that provides cellular alarm services through a network of security dealers. Once you have a plan in place with an AlarmNet dealer, they will activate the Sim card for you, and you will be able to enjoy cellular alarm protection, as well as Total Connect interactive services such as remote control of your LYNX Touch L5100 and text or email notifications.

You can use the L5100-WIFI module to use the online Total Connect service in Russia. You just can't use the cellular GSM module.
the same problem trying to run 5100 in Russia. If I had known before, not bought would cellular block.It would not be bad to distribute at least an online service to other countries.

No, it uses an American SIM card and won't work in Italy. You can use the L5100-WIFI module though.
GSMVLP5-4G work in Italy?
If you enter programming, (More > Tools > Installer Code > Program), and hit Comm. Diagnostics, you should have a GSM Information button. The number of * (asterisk) on the RSSI line will tell you the signal strength. You really want 3 or 4 asterisks ideally.
After I install the GSMVLP5-4G into the L5100, how do I check the GSM signal reception strength. Does L5100 has the signal bar for GSM, like the WIFI radio.
