The Lyric Controller Security System is a wireless self contained unit that has a built in WiFi module making it very easy for users to connect to a central monitoring station. The Lyric Controller has a 7 inch color graphic touchscreen and built in speaker that provides voice announcement of the system’s status and zone descriptions.

The Lyric Controller wireless SiX sensors are easy to install and program. Users can install the sensors using double sided adhesive making them easy to remove and reinstall in a different location.

The Lyric’s SiX sensors are encrypted, so once they’ve been enrolled to a panel, they would have to be deleted first to be used in another panel. The Lyric Controller is compatible with the Honeywell 5800 wireless series device too.

Users can use the desk mount for the panel so no holes at all need to be drilled in walls. Using a desk mount makes it convenient to keep the panel anywhere, kitchen counter, on a nightstand or end table. Users can also move the panel to the room they are in at the time.

The Lyric Controller can also communicate by a cell communicator. The Lyric-3G (AT&T) cell communicator or the Lyric CDMA (Verizon) cell communicator. The cell communicator is optional and installs easily directly inside the panel.

The Lyric Controller also has Z-Wave integrated in the panel. The Lyric Controller supports up to 72 Z-Wave devices, which includes up to 6 door locks and 6 thermostats.

The Lyric Controller supports APL (Advanced Protection Logic). If the user is connected to a central monitoring station and the panel is tampered with during the entry and delay time, APL will send a special signal to the monitoring company.
