What Cellular Communicators Work In The 2GIG GC3?

The 2GIG GC3 has a built in WiFi module, but at this time 2GIG does not support WiFi as a primary means of communication. A cellular communicator must be the first path of communication.

The compatible cell communicators for the 2GIG GC3 are the:

2GIG CDMAV-A-GC3 - The 2GIGCDMAV-A-GC3 is the cellular communicator with Verizon as the carrier.

2GIG 3GA-A-GC3 - The 2GIG 3GA-A-GC3 is the cellular communicator with AT&T as the carrier.

2GIG 3GR-A-GC3 - The 2GIG 3GR-A-GC3 is the cellular communicator with Rogers (Canada) as the carrier.

All three cellular communicators connect to the 2GIG GC3 control panel and when registered and activated will send alarm signals to the Alarm.com servers, which will then forward to a central monitoring station and to your smartphone and email.

The cellular communicator is very easy to install in the 2GIG GC3. Power down your alarm panel and open the side door. Insert the cell communicator until you hear it snap in. Close the side door and power up your system. Please refer to your cellular install manual for complete details.

Installing a cellular communicator in the 2GIG GC3 allows users to connect to Alarm.com.

Alarm.com allows users to control the alarm system, home automation and video remotely via any computer or smartphone. Users will receive notifications via email and or text message on any alarm signal or event.
