Description
The First Alert VISTAHTKVR-V converts the VISTA H3 iBus to allow support of V-Plex serial polling devices. It adds up to 64 V-Plex devices. The VISTA H3 supports up to four (4) modules, one (1) per partition.
The First Alert VISTAHTKVR-V is a wired takeover module designed to connect existing hardwired V-Plex security sensors to a VISTA H3 alarm system. This module allows you to modernize your older, hardwired system by converting wired V-Plex zones into H3 zones. It is a cost-effective solution for integrating legacy equipment with new technology, letting you keep your existing sensors and detectors while upgrading to a modern VISTA hybrid panel.
This module works by communicating with the control panel when wired to the H3 iBus data circuit. It connects using 4-conductor alarm wire. This create a secure and supervised connection with the H3 alarm panel. The VISTAHTKVR-V mounts inside its included cabinet and mounts to the wall or directly to a single or double-gang box.
