How Do I Pair the 2GIG SP2 Keypad with the 2GIG GC3?

You can pair the 2GIG SP2 Keypad with the 2GIG GC3 by accessing the Keypads Menu on the GC3 System. In order to pair the keypad, the system will need to be running firmware version 3.0.2 or higher. This may require updating the firmware. Up to eight keypads can be paired with the GC3.

It is possible to check the current firmware version on the 2GIG GC3. To do this, start from the system's main screen. Choose "System Info and Usage", followed by "System Info". The installed firmware version for the system will be displayed. If the firmware needs to be updated, please click here for more information on how to do this. It is also possible to update a monitored GC3 System conveniently over the air (OTA) from Alarm.com. To do this, contact your alarm monitoring company, and let them know that you would like to upgrade the firmware on your GC3 System. Updating the firmware in this way will require a small fee. Alarm Grid passes this fee directly to their customers, with no mark-up being applied.
