How Many Zones Does A VISTA 15P Have?

The Honeywell Vista 15P has 6 on board hardwired zones, 16 hardwired expansion zones (totaling 22 hardwired zones), and up to 26 wireless expansion zones.

The Vista 15p also supports 8 independent keyfob zones allowing programming without using any of the 26 wireless expansion zones.

To utilize the hardwired and wireless expansion zones, the Vista 15p must be paired with a Honeywell 4219 hardwired expansion module or an 5800 series wireless receiver or an RF keypad.

The Vista 15P control panel has two installer configurable zone types which allows the user to create customer zone types by assigning all zone attributes.

The Honeywell 4219 is a 8 hardwired expansion zone module. The expansion zones provided by the 4219 are supervised by end of line resistors and should be programmed as EOLR zones. The 4219 zone expander has 2K ohm resistors included and should be used on each zone. More than one 4219 expander module can be used on the Vista 15p control panel.

The 6160RF keypad has a built in 5881ENH and 5800TM transmitter module which will support an unlimited number of wireless devices.
