What is Honeywell unsupervised button RF?

Unsupervised button RF is an input device type used when programming buttons into Honeywell wireless security systems. Devices such as security key fobs and portable panic buttons are ideal for this device type. Security key fobs and panic buttons that you will have with you when you leave your home or business would cause the security system to report a trouble status if they were supervised. When programmed as unsupervised RF buttons, you can be free to take these devices with you, and the panel will not look for them when they are not within range. You set the input device type when programming zones (field *56 on most Honeywell wireless alarm systems).
