Can I use the Tuxedo Touch as an L5100 Keypad?

So you already have a L5100 Lynx Touch alarm system and you want to add another touchscreen keypad? You may have seen the attractive Tuxedo Touch and want to know if you can pair one to your L5100. The short answer is NO. See which panels support the Tuxedo Touch keypads and how many each panel supports.

If you have the L5100 and would like to add a keypad you should check out the 5828 and 5828V wireless keypads. It is recommended to power these keypads with the K0991 transformer. Although both can run off battery power they will go to sleep and not come back online until you press and hold the * button.
