Honeywell Home PROA7PLUS031

The Honeywell Home PROA7PLUS031 is a 3-1 system kit that includes a Honeywell Home PROA7PLUS Alarm Panel, three (3) PROSIXMINI2 Encrypted Door and Window Contact Sensors, one (1) PROSIXPIR Encrypted Motion Sensor, and a Honeywell LT-Cable for providing power. The system comes WIFI ready.

As a 3-1 system kit, the Honeywell Home PROA7PLUS031 is good for smaller homes and apartments. There is no cellular communicator included with this kit, so the system will be relying entirely on WIFI connectivity. This is sometimes preferred by users who want to keep monitoring expenses as low as possible. And you can always upgrade to cellular by adding a compatible cellular communicator if you change your mind later. The best cellular communicators for the PROA7PLUS are the Honeywell Home PROLTE-A (AT&T LTE) and the Honeywell Home PROLTE-V (Verizon LTE).

The Honeywell Home PROA7PLUS supports Z-Wave Plus technology for smart home automation, automatic Bluetooth disarming, and up to four (4) unique system partitions. It is all built into a beautiful, modern alarm panel, with an intuitive UI and a crisp, clean, modern design. You can also control the system remotely using the Total Connect 2.0 platform, provided that this service is included in your monitoring plan. A former limitation of the PROA7PLUS was that it did not support local end-user programming but as of firmware version 03.591.92.0 it now supports programming at the panel. Another update, 03.1868.32.0, added support for integration with Apple HomeKit.

Important Note: The PROA7 and PROA7PLUS systems only support PROSIX and SiX series sensors from the factory. If you plan to use any legacy RF sensors, including Honeywell 5800 Series, 2GIG (non-encrypted) 345 MHz, Qolsys or Interlogix 319.5 MHz, DSC 433 MHz, or Bosch 433 MHz sensors, you will need to add a PROTAKEOVER module to your system.
