Does the IQ5 NS Security Panel Support Live View Cameras?
Live View is not available on the IQ5 NS. The IQ5 NS has no screen, so there is no local display for viewing camera feeds. Alarm.com camera video can still be accessed through the Alarm.com mobile app from any location, but the Live View page itself is exclusive to the IQ Panel 5 and IQ5 Hub.
Why Live View Is Not Available on the IQ5 NS
The IQ5 NS (available in AT&T LTE and Verizon LTE) is a screenless security panel. It has no display, no camera, and no local user interface for watching video. Live View is a panel-screen feature that streams Alarm.com camera feeds to the panel's 7-inch display, a component the IQ5 NS does not have. All interaction with the IQ5 NS happens through the IQ Installer app for configuration and the Alarm.com mobile app for day-to-day monitoring, including camera access.
This is a deliberate design tradeoff of the IQ5 NS. The screenless form factor reduces cost and physical footprint, making it well suited to installations where a keypad or remote is the primary user interface, or where the homeowner prefers to manage everything from a phone. For households that want to view camera feeds on a wall-mounted panel, the IQ Panel 5 (AT&T or Verizon) or IQ5 Hub (AT&T or Verizon) are better choices within the IQ5 family.

Viewing Alarm.com Cameras Without Live View
Even without Live View on the panel, IQ5 NS users with an Alarm.com monitoring plan that includes video can watch live and recorded camera footage at any time through the Alarm.com mobile app. The app supports live streaming, clip playback, motion alerts, and two-way audio for compatible cameras. Check out what an Alarm.com video plan includes for details on plan tiers and features.
You can also pair an IQ Remote PowerG secondary keypad to the IQ5 NS to add a local display for security status and basic control. However, even the IQ Remote PowerG does not include Live View camera streaming, that feature remains exclusive to the main panel screen on the IQ Panel 5 and IQ5 Hub.

Considering an Upgrade?
If local Live View camera access is important for your installation, consider the IQ Panel 5 or IQ5 Hub instead. Both panels include the full Live View feature with support for up to 40 Alarm.com cameras, full-screen playback, two-way audio, and Live Answer for doorbell cameras. They share the same Z-Wave, PowerG, and Alarm.com capabilities as the IQ5 NS, with the addition of a 7-inch display and built-in camera. Contact the Alarm Grid team for help selecting the right panel for your home automation and security needs.

The IQ5 NS does not include Live View due to its screenless design, but Alarm.com camera access remains fully available through the Alarm.com mobile app on the IQ5 NS.
