Honeywell Home PROA7PLUS101V

The Honeywell Home PROA7PLUS101V is a 10-1 system kit. It includes a Honeywell Home PROA7PLUS Panel, ten (10) PROSIXSMINI3 Encrypted Door and Window Sensors, one (1) PROSIXPIRV Encrypted Motion Sensor, a PROLTE-V2 Verizon LTE Communicator, and a Honeywell LT-Cable. It is dual-path ready.

A 10-1 system kit refers to a bundled deal that includes an alarm panel with ten (10) door and window sensors and one (1) motion detection sensor. This type of setup serves as a great foundation for a large home or small business. Plus, it is easily possible to further expand upon the system if needed. The Honeywell Home PROA7PLUS System comes with integrated WIFI, and we have added a Verizon LTE Communicator as well. When a system supports both internet and cellular connectivity, it is referred to as a dual-path system. In this case, the system will usually use internet connectivity as its primary communication path, and it will have its cellular connectivity as a backup plan for when there is an internet outage. Just keep in mind that this setup will require a monitoring plan that includes cellular connectivity. The Gold and Platinum Plans from Alarm Grid (Self or Full) are perfect for this.

Inside the PROA7PLUS, there is built-in Z-Wave PLUS for smart home automation, and the system also offers automatic Bluetooth disarming and four (4) configurable partitions. The PROA7PLUS is also highly regarded for its sleek and modern outer design, plus its easy-to-navigate menus and well-organized user interface. All of it is displayed with a gorgeous 7-inch touchscreen. You will want to make sure to get a monitoring plan with access to Total Connect 2.0, as that will unlock the remote capabilities of the system. You can conveniently access the TC2 platform through a web browser or the TC2 Mobile App on your smartphone. A former limitation of the PROA7PLUS was that it did not support local end-user programming but as of firmware version 03.591.92.0 it now supports programming at the panel. Another update, 03.1868.32.0, added support for integration with Apple HomeKit.

Important Note: The PROA7 and PROA7PLUS systems only support PROSIX and SiX series sensors from the factory. If you plan to use any legacy RF sensors, including Honeywell 5800 Series, 2GIG (non-encrypted) 345 MHz, Qolsys or Interlogix 319.5 MHz, DSC 433 MHz, or Bosch 433 MHz sensors, you will need to add a PROTAKEOVER module to your system.
