Can my smart phone w/ Total Connect to disarm alarms?

Why of course you can disarm your Honeywell alarm system using the Total Connect 2.0 app on your smartphone! Currently the app is available on all smartphones except Windows phones. All Honeywell LYNX Touch alarm panels support the service and make it very easy to setup remote access and text/email notifications. This includes the newly released L5200 and L7000 as well as the older L5000 and L5100. Simply log into the app and click the disarm button after you pull into your driveway. The system takes only seconds to respond and confirm that the system is disarmed.

If you have an older, existing security system you can review our Total Connect 2.0 compatibility chart in order to verify whether or not your panel is supported. If you have a Honeywell VISTA-15P or VISTA-20P that does not meet the revision requirement you can get a PROM chip upgrade. There are also some great Total Connect 2.0 upgrade kits that combine GSM (Honeywell GSMV4G-TC2 kit) and dual path communicators (Honeywell iGSMV4G-TC2 kit) with a PROM chip upgrade at a discounted rate. The VISTA-21iP does not currently support a PROM chip upgrade nor have firmware updates available as originally stated by Honeywell. So you have an older VISTA-21iP you need to upgrade your panel or wait for a firmware update.
