Can I Use the Honeywell 20P w/ Cameras?
The compatible Honeywell IP cameras are the Honeywell IPCAM-WO (outdoor security IP camera), Honeywell IPCAM-WL (Total Connect low-light IP security camera) and Honeywell IPCAM-PT2 (AlarmNet pan/tilt IP camera).
The Honeywell Tuxedo Touch WIFI has a 7 inch touchscreen that allows users to connect up to a total of 32 Honeywell IP cameras and view up to 4 cameras at a time directly on the display screen.
The Honeywell VAM ( VISTA Automation Module) supports up to 32 Honeywell IP cameras. Unlike the Honeywell Tuxedo Touch WIFI, the VAM does not have a display, however, users can view up to 4 Honeywell IP cameras from a computer, smartphone, or iOS device, connected to the same network.
Both the Honeywell Tuxedo Touch WIFI and VAM are also z wave controllers which support up to 232 Z-Wave devices.
Users can also view the Honeywell IP cameras from any computer or smartphone with a Total Connect 2.0 account.
With a Total Connect 2.0 account, users can receive emails and text messages on any alarm signal or event. Total Connect 2.0 will store video clips for a total of 7 days. After 7 days, the video clip will be deleted. Users can have the video clips emailed to them and the video clips can be saved within the users email for as long as needed.
The Vista-20P control panel needs to be paired with a Honeywell communicator to be compatible with Total Connect 2.0.
The compatible Honeywell internet communicator is the 7847i.
